In this workshop we are going to explore the role of implicit cognitive biases, as it relates to child development. Research indicates that children aware of gender norms as early as two years old, impacting how they socialize with their peers, build relationships and understand the world. This session will explore the role of gender and gender equality in early childhood settings, and the impact of gender expectations in early childhood development.
